How is wlb at boutique consulting firms?

In my experience, boutiques have less WLB. They operate as startups and are more lean, meaning that you are often understaffed on projects wearing multiple hats. I found this to be great work experience but, despite what’s often advertised by recruiters, found myself working more hours.

I’ve worked at 2 boutiques that were sold to large SIs as well as 2 strategic SIs.

Depends on the boutique.

Have you worked at any boutique and how was your experience

I've worked at 2 boutiques, drastically different experiences. 1 walks the walk on healthy WLB, the other was full of shit. Trust glass door. You can tell which reviews AR written by HR.

like

It does depend on the boutique. I worked for one and worked long days and most Saturdays. But I know there are other ones that place a lot of focus on WLB. From what I have seen, the whole range is out there in terms of little to high intensity of work, and the salary typically reflects the workload.

I currently have a Cap One Venture card. I have had it for a couple of years now but I am interested in upgrading to a Venture X card.

No promotion has been offered to me to upgrade my existing Venture card to a Venture X card.

Should I wait until that promotion is offered to me? Or would it be dumb to apply for a Venture X card separately and a) hold both cards or b) close out the original Venture card.

Hello guys
anyone have any idea how long its taking now days for work visa to process with standard process?
Its been 3week and still waiting to receive confirmation email.😥

My VP keeps asking for next year’s roadmap but every week wants it formatted differently and it’s driving me crazy. They don’t seem to know what they want and I have so much else to do than tweak the layout and colors and notations a few times each week. When I’ve asked what format and level of info the CTO prefers, my VP says they don’t know and I need to be okay with ambiguity. I’m losing any patience and good will I had.

Hi, I recently applied to a salesforce company and was selected for an interview. I had interviews with a recruiter, department manager and hiring manager and did well in them all. My final interview was with the CEO which lasted for about 10 minutes. He said he has read the notes from the previous interviews and the recruiter will get in touch with you. What are the chances I do not get this job given that I did well in all 3 interviews leading to the final interview with the CEO?

So to give some background, I currently have about 6-7 YOE in the BA/PM space, and my current position is 100k, with 10k annual bonus. The position I hold is as a Senior Business Analyst at the company I'm currently at.

I received an offer for a Salesforce Functional Business Analyst at Accenture for 128k annually with a 15k signing bonus. I'm hesitant due to the lower title, as I want to move back into PM work, and feel as if I'm taking a step down. Also, concerned with the WLB at Accenture.
