In PwC AC, If you join you're expected to work on multiple projects at the same time. You get billability hrs every week for a particular project and beyond that it's really hard to get the hrs billable and you charge on bench/learning. Which will hamper your utilisation. Everyday if you're free, you need to ask manager that I've 2hrs free and how can I help you. This much calculation of hrs feels like labourers and pathetic. How you guys are dealing with it? Hoping for some advice regarding managing stress/anxiety. Lately I have been combating a growing sense of anxiety. For context I have been working in consulting for 9 years at Deloitte, the last time I was on the bench was 2014. I read many negative comments about accentute bench policy and pip program. Also there are 10% layoff policy.. Is it true??.. Also for me job security is a concern.
