I am from Mulesoft background with 12 yrs IT Experience and Got offers from Accenture and whishworks. Whishworks offer 2lacs more when compared with the fixed package. Designations are almost same(management level8) But Accenture provides 3lacs joining bonus and more variable pay(Accenture 27% whishworks 10%) which puts me in dilemma. I've got into tech about 5 years ago since then I've worked in SQL, excel, database administration, PowerShell, html, some python, shell, SharePoint, power automate, power apps, various apis and other software.

I feel like I just keep taking on small bits of information/skills but never get specialized. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here or been in a similar situation?

I know we're always supposed to negotiate, but I always feel uneasy doing so. I never want to come off too greedy, or scare them away. I know this is basic stuff, but it really gives me anxiety.

Had my interview this past Monday.

My recruiter meets every Thursday to get feedback from the interviewer, so I’m not expecting to hear back until next Friday.

I get an email today, from a Googler, an invite to apply for a position. I did not accept or decline yet and I don’t have any details. I did look up the person who sent me the invite, the person is a regional lead.

Any ideas what this could be? I’m a bit nervous and don’t know if I should reach out to my recruiter to ask her?

So what do we think about working at FAANG companies? I personally have stayed away from interviewing with them, as I have heard horror stories about work life balance.
