Depending on your region, it gets easier/harder.
With the current rate of attrition and roll over, you will face staffing issues on a daily basis. This includes over promising by GDS leadership without accounting for actual available man power.
Apart from this, you are expected to provide projections to GDS and US leaderships and state plausible reasons for any deviation from projections to actuals.
Oh also, Mondays and Fridays would be the worst with at-least 50% taking “sick leaves”.
It's good, although definition of WLB is different for everyone.
Wlb will depend on sub-service line you’ll be supporting. For scheduling and ad-hoc requests on my engagements, I take their help. Even though a non-technical job, it might get a bit much at times, talking and convincing people to pick up work, day-in and day-out.
It’s a thankless job. Lots of fire drills. Depends on which services lines you are supporting. Good luck.
