I’m in healthcare. I feel like we’ve been living in a post-apocalyptic hellscape for 20 months with a few glimmers of reprieve, including recently until Omnicron. Def not back to business as usual.

Office is open, but you don’t have to go in if you don’t want to. Business is up.

Well, they revoked pto for everyone last minute and are requiring an in person end of year meeting tomorrow (two week notice) Probably about 100 people shoulder to shoulder and being in office has been required since I believe July 2020
That just sucks beyond belief
Everyone is acting like nothing is wrong, and it is seriously making me me feel like I'm being gaslit by an entire industry! Everything is not ok! Ugh!!!!!!!!!!

In which way and which apocalypse? Cuz other than permanently closing the office, it's been business as usual which has burned so many people out that multiple have quit without anything else lined up.
I also forgot that everyone that went to santacon has Covid.
Return to office is paused until January. Like case numbers won't continue to rise after holidays? SMH
Firing all remote workers who aren’t vaccinated and forcing people to come into the office

Hard to tell who all managing or any plans for anything? Maybe just me, meh, I have student loans and bills so I keep heading into the office chasing after pennies
Thank you! Yeah my loan is private family loan so as expected I will be paying back all of it meaning I will not only work to pay off all, I am expected to add back to the pot. This is appropriate of course, no complaints here, I’m thankful of family support so I’ll do my part.
