Hello there! I have been interviewing with Amazon for L6 Sr. UX Designer role. I want to understand what’s the salary range I should be negotiating for that role. I have no clue what big company like amazon and Facebook pays for someone with 10 years of experience. Any help and pointer will help me with the negotiation. Thank you.
A Google recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn to interview me for an opening on the Ad Sales team as an Account Manager. Curious if anyone else has been through this process? What should I expect? The first phone interview is tomorrow. Excited for the opportunity and want to put my best foot forward!
I have an interview with McKinsey for an implementation role. Can anyone in this role tell me what to expect from the interview process? Any input greatly appreciated! Super nervous about it
Anyone willing to share great design challenges they’ve used to hire content creators or digital strategists as part of the interview process? (Startup is in the wedding industry)
Im in my second month at KPMG. Bain just reached out to me to interview from an application I submitted back in June. The resume Bain has doesn’t show I just started my new job. How should I approach the situation if I’d like to someday end up at Bain.
I accepted an offer and I’m still interviewing. Wondering how bad it would be if I rescinded 🤷♀️
KPMG interview process on to 3 months. What gives? Do they actually need cyber people or not? Do I even want to work here now?
Thinking of applying Rd 1 in the fall. What's the right number of schools to apply to for my profile (3.6 GPA, 740 GMAT, been working for about 2 years at application)?
@Adweek I had it again. In their obituary of Stewart altar, a great man who served the industry and his agency for his entire adult life, they refer to him as “old school editor retires’ . Ageism at its worst. I strongly urge an industrywide boycott about a week. No sneak peaks, no interviews, shut them off.
I had a lot of meetings/interviews with a service line and office I was thinking of transferring. The last time I had a call with a partner was two Fridays ago (10 days). And they told me they’ll discuss and let me know in the next week. I sent a follow up email after my meeting. But haven’t heard anything back. Is it a bad sign? Or should I try reaching out again?
Has anyone interviewed with Intuit for Biz Ops before? I’m curious about the work that they typically do.
Any tips for moving into management role from Technical position? There's only so many LinkedIn learning courses I do. I've taken all the opportunities for people management made available but lately it feels like "assistant to the manager" Dwight Shrute busy work. I've been applying for leadership roles but at the pay level I'm at now, years of experience is needed. Do I just have to take a massive pay cut on the chin and start again?
Im a recent grad on a tech implementation project for a small firm. I’m finding it challenging because I’m expected to know how to solution a user problem based on the system that I really don’t know all the ins and outs of. I enjoy the req gathering/PMO activities, but thinking of data mapping and integrations is such a new way of thinking than a typical strategy-based case study. Do strategy ppl find these tech implementation difficult?
What's the internal job transfer protocol for PwC? Do I really have to contact my RL first before applying anywhere? I'd like to stay in the same office and don't really care about getting a higher salary. Just want to stay at PwC in a tax related role (which is what I'm in now, just more niche).
My friend got selected in capgemini, after joining project interviews are happening but he failed to clear 3 project interviews. What will be the impact of that??
Interview tomorrow at EY. Will this help me get hired?
Is the interview process to get into IBD harder or easier than top consulting firms like BCG/McKinsey/Bain? Where do the truly smart people work nowadays?
I’m currently FT at an agency I really want out of. I have an opportunity to go freelance for a 3 month contract (with the potential to renew) for a big brand that pays very well + offers benefits. A big part of me wants to go for it knowing that I’ll continue my conversations I’ve been having with other agencies and cross my fingers something works out for a full time gig once my contract is up. The anxious part of me is very nervous about that uncertainty. Cont...

Anyone threatened to straight up quit with nothing else lined up as a way to negotiate a raise?
MBB is known for fastest progression to Partner in 6-7 years and SIGNIFICANTLY better comp compared to Big 4. That said seeing some of my Big 4 friends make it to SMs in 7 years so MBB needs to amp up the meritocracy based promotions. Curious what would be the comp for a 1st year consulting partner in Big 4?

When an internal recruiter asks your salary range, do you ever ask them what their budget is first?
Looking for best suggestions for transferring corporate AMEX points or getting the best value?

I’ve been with my creative partner since we started (3.5 years ago). We just interviewed at my dream agency together and I want to reach out to said agency and let them know I’d be more interested in a position without my current partner. I know it’s risky but there’s very little chance we’ll get this job anyways, so why not right? Right??
What do typical comp increases in industry look like? I just found out that my new company’s raises are around 3% per year and I’m wondering if that’s normal
