Fellow F 🐠, why do Deloitte men suck? How about the MBB, other Big 4, Accenture, etc. guys? Just trying to understand.
Post client pitch and I'm stuck in the car for 2 hours with the two directors. Neither of whom is interested in doing any of work while I have a proposal due EOD. I need to get promoted...
Does anyone have intel about culture at Goldman Sachs? Their latest CD position looks appealing, but finance can be so damn dry.
Accepting the amount of hate I'll get for this but in my opinion a small commuter plane shouldn't staff flight attendants with hips wider than the aisle. It's annoying to keep getting bumped by a$$ 😑
After watching SNL last night, Kanye West needs to just step out of the limelight to take care of his mental health before he finds himself broke, divorced and with no social circle to support him.
Got another final round rejection this month. It sucks to share the bad news but for those struggling to find a new role, you’re not the only one.
I am one one of those laid off from Deloitte on H1-b (stamped) visa. My question is, if I join a consultancy and initiate H1-b transfer with them, then in one month I find full time job outside. Can the consultancy stop me from joining the full time role? I have heard couple of instances where consultancies not releasing the i797 approval document. If the consultancy does not release my i797, can my transfer process with the full time job happen? Please help - I have 40 days left to find new job
Is “Big-Law” as competitive as getting into MBB? Had a friend say it’s not, but rather on par with placing into an LEK, OW, S& (granted still hard)...
I go in a building while it’s dark outside I leave aforementioned building while it’s dark outside All I technically see is darkness
How does the certification/tuition reimbursement program at your company work? (e.g. approval criteria, minimum months/years of commitment to the company after certification, etc)
How do experienced hires coming into MBB do? Any major mistakes they make. Anything the good ones do?
A good friend had to cancel her wedding this year cause covid but with the virus relatively under control in NYC, they decided to move ahead with a socially distanced, small wedding ceremony of just 20 friends (in a tent outdoors) and only 2-4 ppl per table. Masks required. I am living with my parents right now and debating if I should go or not. The couple was really understanding and did say they would not be offended if I chose not to go. Thoughts?
