(38F). My boyfriend (39M) after 2 years together (long distance but travel to one another and spend time), suddenly told me he wants to try to be a musician again. He did this in his 20s , failed and started his corporate career at 26. He’s a Senior Manager in Fl but i personally feel is underpaid. He was supposed to move in to my place in September and start living together. I have recently stepped into a contract role for T-Mobile, and walked away from a full time hire in a stable telecom operations role at another company. Is this a good move to work as a contractor? I have never done this before and instability is my worry. The money is better but is it worth not knowing how long this contract will keep renewing?

I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. I believe they’re interviewing other candidates. Does that make me second or third choice? And does the fact that I’m working with a recruiter hurt my chances of being selected due to the commission?
