I just received an offer from Deloitte USDC coming on as a Investigations Senior Consultant @ $110k, $5k signing bonus, 100% remote position (requested) Can Someone explain what benefits are afforded to me? Is the 401k match the same? Recruiter stated 3 weeks and 3 days of PTO…does that mean 18 days or 24 days? Also, can someone clarify the parental leave policy as compared to core? Up for promo ~12 months post joining, with initial hit in comp being mitigated with signing bonus. Would be a bump as soon as promo goes through.

However would mean ~1yoe seniority loss (although quite early in career)

Working for a big 4 strategy firm in London and would like to move permanently (not secondment) to the US on an L1 visa next year after getting to senior associate. Does anyone have experience with this? Its unlikely my home partners would support the move outright, so is the best approach to apply directly to the desired US office after networking and get an offer + global mobility in place before giving notice?

On a track for promotion for Q1 but feeling burnt out and like I can’t manage the workload in order to make that happen. I brought this up to my manager and she said “well we probably won’t be able to get you the promo until Q2 then in order to get all the data points needed”. Her point is pretty accurate, but am I crazy to slow down for my mental health and sanity at the expense of delaying promo by 3 months?

What is the decision-making process like after MBB (more specifically in BCG and Bain) final round interviews? Can one or two partners overrule another or advocate for you strongly to sway another person’s opinion? Completed my interviews and feel like I did stronger in one than in the other and nervous about hearing back lol
