4 years today. #grateful #keepcomingback
Marsh & McLennan I am moving 2 hours from my office. My manager says i have to come 2 days to office. When i come to the office its only me and couple of other people. No one seems to care about coming to office. When i asked manager if i can work remote i was told that its for my career development. Can you guys tell in Canada which companies are offering remote opportunities?

Yeah saw you’ve only been in for 4 months, definitely give yourself a break and allow yourself more time. But obviously continue to put in effort and ask as many questions as possible. I feel like I jumped pretty quick in my 4 to 7th month mark (where I’m at now). There’s obviously still plenty for me to learn but there’s some stuff now that’s more second nature

Don’t they say it’s like a year long learning curve, 6 months to even know what you’re doing
ahh ty, this makes me feel better. 4 months in and the learning curve was steep. hate myself in every deal.
It’s been like 13 months and I’m still leaning a lot with every deal. Take them one at a time.

I’m drowning too
Almost everyone I've seen falls into the 6-12 month range, but one of my best Managers was at the 18 month mark before everything started clicking. Most groups think of hiring needs with this longer ramp up period in mind.
Started a few months ago and am so lost so you’re not alone

How long have you been in fdd?
4 months :(
Ehh still learning about a year in
Yeah that's by far been the toughest hurdle for me I. the new role.
What is it in FDD are you having a hard time with?
I’m starting FDD and so far is understanding the whole deal process from start to finish and understanding how my tasks connects with the overall deal.
