Additional Posts in Amazon Interview Prep
I'm having the last loop interviews with Amazon for an analyst position, but I'm realizing that it might not be the right place for me, I'm currently working at hpe and have a good balance, 11+ YOE, I'm not sure if it's really worth the effort. Can someone tell me about what level sales ops analyst job might be? I looked for range salaries and it looks like it is 55k for Germany, so not really much of what I'm earning now.
I read bad comments about the culture and the workload balance.
I have an interview for a TPM role that I didn't technically apply to (my resume got passed along). I work in a technical environment but dont have a technical background. Do I actually have a real shot??
How technical are TPM roles? I know how to talk to technical people but not make technical decisions myself. Amazon Project Kuiper.
Received an Amazon inclined recycle outcome in August for L6 technival position. Told I needed to mini loop on another role for placement. Fast forward to this week, requested to interview for another L6 technical position - they want to do full 6 hour loop. Sys Dev Manager first role vs Sr TPM for 2nd role. Annoyed... 🤨

This is what worked for me. Internalize the Leadership Principles and their definitions. (There's a link to it in your loop invite email) Then make a list of ALL the anecdotes from your professional life, relevant or irrelevant. Then make a table on Word with all the Leadership Principles and components of STAR method in each colum (Situation, Task,Action and Result). Now look at your anecdotes and place them under each Leadership Principle and add the details to each example for each component of the STAR method. The correspondence between Leadership Principles and your examples in STAR method will help you a ton. That being said you need a good amount of time to prepare and don't rush it. Read and reread your examples to make sure they make sense.Be confident be yourself. Nothing is too much or too less in aj answer. You can ask follow-up up questions like "Did I answer your question?" "Do you want me to elaborate on that?" I absolutely recommend DayOne Careers on YouTube and also sign up for their course if you've time. Good luck!
I agree. Go down memory lane recall all the experience where you displayed leadership principles. Note it down as it seems preferable to you and organize it in STAR method that the only way to crack this interview

I wrote down everything in my career and starting building mini stories to make them fuller. Then started mapping them to LPs.
Make sure you have unique stories for each LPs, even if you decide to reuse stories, narrate it from a different angle so it’s not evident. Trust me, it is hard because you need to act fast to be able to pick the right story for the right LP. You don’t want to use your best story for an LP you have other stories prepped for
