How long did you prepare for your MBB interview and how many cases did you solve? And what actually surprised you during the actual interview (was easy or more difficult than you expected)

I’m updating my resume and I’m wondering what HR people are actually looking for/care about? If I have had two jobs out of college (graduated 2020), should I still put down my internships? Does it matter if I put down Microsoft proficient or is that just assumed now? Does the award I earned in high school for community service matter?

Persistent conducts interviews just for timepass. After clearing all rounds they don't offer. Aspiring candidate dont attend interviews.

Nowadays, most of the service based companies are toughening their interviews and even after we clear the company level interview, we are being challenged with both the internal project interviews and client interviews.
This is being a red tape against getting a fair work opportunity.
Why are the orgs moving towards such hard selection process nowadays ?
Why aren't they lenient towards providing an work environment, that offers the opportunity for gradual progression of the learning curve ?

I need more insight. I just got done with my on-site interview (flew 1,000 miles) they paid for everything. I had interviews with the director, CNO, and fellow managers. The CNO was fourth coming with all information and said they would develop me to reach my career goals. The managers were telling me the good school districts etc. and we’re agreeing with my answers during the interview. I’m probably going to end up over analyzing everything until I hear back. Any thoughts?

Hi! I'm currently interviewing (3/6 interviews so far) for for an appeals manager role for DME. The job entails not only to bill for dme (cms 1500) but also to follow up on any denials or appeals, amongst other administrative duties. My questions are is it typical to have 1 person doing both the billing and denials within a new vertical for all ins.? How difficult is billing for dme as I only have experience in gyn onc and lactation billing? What's a fair salary? I have 8+ yoe in rcm, no certs.

Do you think it’s a fireable offense to interview with another team internally at your company without telling your current manager/team? If not fireable, how bad does it look if your team finds out you’ve interviewed with a couple other teams in the last 6 months?

I had an interview a month ago. Checked in 2 days after the interview, and then 2 weeks later. Recruiter said no updates, but she will be in touch. It's now been 2 more weeks. Can I follow up again? Or will she be bothered since she said she would keep me posted. Seems like a long time for silence, but maybe I'm just impatient.

At what point it’s too late to move from MBB to PE? Can you still move as a Manager (Project Leader)? Is it possible to break into a deal team? Will you need to take a downgrade in that case (e.g. start as an Associate)?
