How long did you wait to start a new job after getting the offer with the h1b transfer process?

NOT Preaching Alert🚨 but folks on work visa in US, I know its very confusing and uncertain environment that’s increasing our anxiety everyday BUT remember that when you came here you didn’t have anything and most likely have earned/learned so much in terms of education, experience, cultural values, and money ofcourse that it must have prepared you for other options if things don’t work out here. Don’t lose heart and take one day at a time. You got this! We will survive.

Has anyone filed and had luck to expedite there refund from prior years by filling out form 911 - request for taxpayer advocate service assistance? If I do that, is that going to effect during any stage of the green card process?

Is it standard to get revocation notice for H1B petition from older employee after transfer and approval of the petition with new employer? Has anyone here faced it before or know what does that mean?

Aside from short term emergency declarations where visas are handed out, has anyone found any countries that provide a visa due to a skill shortage, or carriers that offer sponsorship for senior insurance professionals? Curious mostly about Europe and Oceania.

Anybody with approved H1B but not stamped due to no on-site opportunity? Any ideas what should be the next step ? Can I apply for deloitte US job directly? Or look for jobs outside using the same visa approval?

Firm has applied for my GC but i dont have an approved i140 yet. My GC application and my home office location is in state X. And i’m planning to move to a state Y which is under 50 miles from my old home location. So my question is, if I change the states but the new location is under 50 miles will that be a problem for my green card application? Currently on h1b, if my company files for green card and I switch jobs, does it effect my application. Hi, how does a h1b transfer work? my current visa expires in 2024,but I’m on my first 3 years. If I do a transfer now, will the expiry date be the same? Or will it be 3 years out from the approval date of the new transferred h1b visa?
