My bank gave three attempts; I believe there are mandatory FINRA waiting periods before you’re allowed to retake. It’s pretty straightforward but you need to take it at least a little seriously
Just do a ton of practice problems until you memorize the answers
I did SIE first attempt, missed 79 same day by 2 points. Then the world ended with COVID and everything else and just now able to study and retry the 79. Super anxious about it as it’s been awhile
My bank gave me a year
We had 3 weeks to study for it. We used Knopman Marks and it has like half the questions in their practice materials.

I had to take the exam while working. My company let me go to an in-person three day prep session with Knopman and tried to tone down staffings the week leading into the test
Had 100 days to take SIE, 63 and 79. Just drill the Kaplan questions and you’ll be fine. You just need to pass don’t chase perfection and stress yourself out
We had about 3 weeks. I took a course with Knopman Marks after training. It’s fairly simple, just take a course and listen and pay attention. Those guys know the exam inside and out. Do exactly as they say and you should be fine. If you have a finance background it’ll be helpful, I started from scratch as a liberal arts major and it was tougher for me but manageable.
