Anyone who works at DocuSign? Have my first round of interview tomorrow for technical consultant position
Have an in-person interview with Slalom next week for a consultant position, I’ll be interviewed by 2 different consultants for 45 minutes each. Any tips from Slalom folks? Are these behavioral?
I’ve been through 5+ weeks of interviews with a company that will IPO next year and they did a bait and switch on me with the offer: it was advertised as “Head of” and then during the offer-walk-through-meeting today they said “oh btw we changed the title to ‘Senior Manager’ for this role”. They offered me a salary I made 4 years ago as a manager. They offered stock options with an exercise price TBD 1 year from now…which is when they’re hitting IPO. Is that normal for stock options?
I’m pretty introverted (I’m not necessarily shy, it just takes a lot to me to open up and I’d prefer not to if I don’t have to) and I’ve found this is making interviews hard for me. Any advice?
Im applying to this startup that has two positions that im really interested in. I already sent my app for one where I think my chances are better. Should I send an email to tell them Im interested in the other position as well, or would this be strange / weird?
How would you prepare for a SQL or any coding live interview? Do you solve hackerank or leet code problems every day?

Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones? https://blog.shrm.org/blog/9-interesting-interview-questions-that-actually-reveal-a-lot-about-candidat
To those in Palo Alto, what's the reputation amongst the BigLaw firms there? Thoughts on Wilson Sonsini or Paul Hastings? Interviewing at the moment and trying to get a sense of the on the ground experience and reputation of the various shops.
I interviewed for an internship at an agency I wasn’t super excited about, but wanted to get some interview practice in. When I met the ACD who interviewed me, we really hit it off and it made me (..)
Urgent help! I didn’t work on R before, just basic knowledge. Now the company I’m interviewing for asked me to solve a supply chain optimisation case study on R and make a presentation. Any leads on how can I learn R by this weekend?
Does Google wait to reject all candidates at once, regardless of how far they progressed in the interview process? Or do they tell candidates after each round before starting the next round of interviews?
I have attended TCS interview on 19th till now I have not received any email or feedback about my interview. How many days will they take to provide the feedback??
Best way to prep for the McKinsey PEI interview?
How is commercial hiring in DC/Arlington for Deloitte, for either client-facing or internal roles? I've been applying to the tons of open spots for a while, but am not having any luck.
Is anyone from McKinsey willing to answer a few questions about the interview process? Applied to a few roles. Wanted to find out if there is a way to increase the odds of getting an interview.
I’m interviewing for in-house and firm roles and I’m not sure how to navigate the compensation issue. My first job out of law school was with a state regulatory agency so comp was slotted and basically limited to salary and PTO. What should I be looking for when I interview in-house? With a firm? I don’t want to leave compensation on the table and end up feeling undervalued later.
How many interviews is too many for a job? Company wanted 6 interviews and a case study presentation and I just dipped it’s too much. Is this unreasonable?
Best way to not stress about the results of a final round interview? I think everything went well. Cases were strong and I answered everything well but I’m scared they didn’t like me or I wasn’t what they were looking for.
Any insights into compensation details for a “Security Program Manager - Tech” at Uber with 7 YOE? TIA!
What do you do when your SO is so naive that she tells her employer during a promotion interview that her long term plan is a career in academia.
Currently an SC at EY up for promotion to Manager (no guarantee this will occur) and have an offer from Deloitte for SC for a $15k base increase. Would you take the offer or wait for promo decision?
Anyone else feel like we’re all getting a raw deal on healthcare? Switched to industry and one 30 minute doc appointment is $450 out of pocket.
Thoughts on Chime? Accepted offer from Apple then they hit me up with a higher comp band (recruiter not even applied). Add in pre IPO it’s a higher risk higher reward
How much is the base compensation for an enterprise architect specialist leader at Deloitte with more than 10 years of experience ?
Recruiter asked for total comp for a financial analyst role in service cost modeling at Apple in Cupertino, CA. Glassdoor ranges are very wide, 54-146 just for base. Thoughts?
I have a return offer following my internship for an MBB in my home country in SE Asia. However, I want to stay in the US after my MBA (salary, relationship, network etc.). Would it make sense to get offers from T2s to put pressure on my company to enable a transfer? If so, how would I best play this card? I would likely pick any US firm over any MBB at home, given the financial considerations.
Junior, had a health-related break from working for 3 months. Any hot tips on getting back into the groove creatively?
Promotion effective two weeks from now on 7/1, too early to change your job title on LinkedIn?
@ legacy strategy PPEDs - in light of our supposed commitment to diversity and inclusion, what is the plan for the ED who is widely known for making openly racist and misogynistic comments in the office and on social media?
Are all IT Audit ( Big 4?Risk assurance, PwC DAT, PwC Tech Risk) have a year long busy season? I am curious as to my firm busy season is now really “busier season” because we have been legit busy all year
My current opt expires on 07/02, my h1B petition was filed on 06/16. My firm wants receipt notice for I-9 verification or I-20 and DSO won’t be able generate new I-20 without receipt notice. If I can’t submit one of these before 07/02 they are stating that I need to separate from firm. Can someone advise me what I can do?
Why exactly is the lateral market so hot? More deals going on? People leaving big law completely? More people taking parental leave? A mix of these things?
I’ve been burned by the stock market before trading options (when the market bottomed out in 2016) and I learned my lesson on recklessly speculating on spikes and dips in the market. Anyone else feel like this situation is gonna create a class of retail investors who are over confident in the “ease” of timing the market, without doing an research, after all this dies down?
Book recommendation: can anyone recommend a good leadership book for aspiring (not current) people managers? Perhaps on how to get to the leadership level, or how to lead effectively as an IC. Cheers!
Seattle Delta sky club FTW.
Anyone already work out an optimal combo for a couple that each consults on earning? We aren’t super advanced so basic choice is either both go Marriott, or split and one go Hyatt and Hilton
