I interviewed for Data Analyst role at EY, it went well and the job sounds great, but I'm a bit hesitant to leave PwC because I really like the firm and I'm just 8 months in my job as an associate at a subgroup of ITS that has some focus on technology and analytics but it's mostly tax compliance.
I do want to transition to data analytics but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to go to another big 4, or maybe just look for a position in industry.
Any advice or similar experience?

Lol I gave myself 6 months
This makes me feel better. I’m about 4 months into a new job and have some good days and then others where I feel like I have no idea what I’m doing. And now struggling to build relationships from a distance.
1 year. Cut yourself some slack. If you’re working from home it’s even harder to feel like you’re learning and connecting like you normally would when you start a new position.
If at all helpful, you’re not alone... 3 months in new job, 2 of which was wfh. Def feel like I’m flailing and drowning too. But sending you tons of positive vibes!
6 months at least, in your case likely a bit more.
