Nothing more but just a Decade.
Honestly it’s like anything else in life. The more you learn and the more implementations or support engagements you are a part of, the more you realize you don’t know. Each implementation is unique, because (as much as we like to say there’s “industry best practices”) each company’s flavor on, say Order to Cash or Procure to Pay, is unique, both within a given industry and especially across industries and channels.
tl;dr: Just knowing the main t-codes, SPRO nodes, and common user exits and BAPIs / RFCs for a module will get you far, but mastery… that’s elusive, especially without business context 😉
Thank you !
Define “master” - I’ve barely met a single one
Wow! What makes an above average SAP Consultant, in your experience?
I learn something new every day…even after almost 20 years. Lol
Hard to say but you have a solid handle on it after at least 2 end to end projects and 5+ years if you’re into it.
Some consultants are still useless after 20 years
