Including or not including the 30 minutes of alarm snoozing?

like

Male <30mins

Male - yesterday I slept in so it was about 12 minutes from awake to out the door... included full shower, no shave, skipped breakfast, wore full suit and tie. Usually ~30 minutes with a light breakfast that I read through.

like

Male. I'm usually a zombie in the morning so at least 30 minutes. An hour if you include walking my dog.

Never snooze, < 30 mins

Female. If I shower then an hour, if no shower then 20-25 mins.

A good hour, but I like to have a bit of chill time before shit starts hitting the fan.

Hello all, how can we approach the gender pay gap at our respective employers? I know I’ve mentioned it before but it seems to make Culture & Talent, as well as Legal cringe. I don’t expect them to publish salaries, nor do I wish this, I just want to see what steps we can take to make our voices heard. Let’s open the floor up for ideas and suggestions!!

I’m a mid-level working in a niche area in NYC. I like the work I do, put in long hours, high quality work, take time to mentor juniors, etc. I see myself at a law firm long term but now wondering if this is the right firm to make partner. Among others, one big concern I have is the non-existent emphasis on diversity and inclusion initiatives (they aren’t even pretending to care...), no committees, no statements in support of POC, etc. How do I find firms really committed to these issues?

Let’s work next year to get you there.

Hi Tax Bowlers, I'm an experienced associate (2yrs) in a Big 4 Transfer Pricing division. I have reached a point in my career where I am considering taking up a professional certification. Several colleagues recommended taking up either ACCA or CFA, however, I see little connection between these certifications and the work that I am currently doing, and what I plan to do in the future. What would you guys suggest? Would it be detrimental to my career if I did not take up any certifications?

Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. Now that I signed the offer and is pending background checks, my anxiety is off the roof as it itches closer to my starting date.
