Eat higher volume food. Compare a whole watermelon to a candy bar. They may actually have the same calories but one will keep you fuller longer
Also focus on foods that keep you feeling full - protein and fiber rich foods do that for me.

drink 16 oz of water an hour - you’ll be too busy peeing to have time to eat.
Try drinking some tea with stevia. It gives you something to do when you want to eat, but is zero calories. I do this when I am fasting, if I experience a craving. Or, engaging in a fun hobby or task works too. Any activity that focuses you on something other than food.
Hah I posted this exact comment once and someone burst my stevia bubble and told me it’s not good for your gut... just paying it forward! (Still better than a cigarette break tho.)

Can I ask how you came to the number 1500 ?
How much of a caloric deficit is that for you ? [BMR + calories from exercise]
My TDEE is about 1700 and my BMR is 1450. So I figure 1500 is a pretty safe goal. Between crazy work hours and studying for my CPA not much exercise is happening. At this point I just want to stop gaining more than losing. I’ll worry about losing after the holidays and busy season😂
