How long does it usually take Microsoft to review resumes and reach out for an interview/screening call? I applied to two roles on 7/18 and they both still stay in review.

Can anyone who has recently lateraled to a different investment bank speak about how their interview(s) were? How many were there and what did they ask you? Is it mostly deal related questions or did you have to memorize the guides again?

I have a contact who is a hiring mgr at a company I want to work for. He told me he has an open role for me and set me up with 6 interviews over a 2 week period. They all went really well and HR said I’ll most likely be moving forward to a site visit. But now my contact has ghosted me. After I made 3 outreaches he had his aa schedule time for two weeks out. Talk me off a ledge!!! I had an interview with one of the leading professional service firms that I won’t mention for an internal services Learning Manager role. (I’m a former employee from the consulting side) I had a first round interview, that from my perspective, I aced… I answered everything thoroughly, I was engaged with the interviewer…she stated my skills lined up perfectly with the role and that she wanted me to talk to her manager….15 min after the interview I get a no go email…ugh
