How long does it usually take to hear back from a hiring team for an interview these days? I'm wondering if it's time for me to follow up or if I'm just being impatient.

It's been at least a week for me lately. Maybe it will speed up now that the holidays are over.

like

Its usually atleast a week to two weeks depending on what time of the year it is. I always follow up if I don't hear back in a week.

like

My rule of thumb is to follow up after one full week (7 calendar days) from the last communication.

I’d say about 1 month to finalize all recruitment

It's anywhere from 1 day to 4 weeks. I would followup after 1 week to check-in.

It depends on when it was. I have not gotten back to those interviewed before the holidays because some of the directors are still out on PTO so we have not been able to all get together for 2-3 weeks now. You should hopefully hear back by the end of next week if it was in December

You can send a thank you email right after the interview. I'd say on average two weeks is a good amount of time for them to get back you. If you don't here anything in 2 weeks. Send a follow up email.

Usually they tell me in the interview when I should expect to hear from them. They might say something like by the end of next week or "by Monday"... something like that.

It used to take about a week, but lately I've seen it take up to a month for recruiters to respond.

Left my first job after just shy of two years because I was bored. Have been at my current job for about half a year and it’s a great resume builder but an absolute horror story (long hours, unreasonable clients, tons of weekend work that’s not worth the pay). If I left in a few months, at the 10 month mark, would that significantly hurt my chances of getting a strong exit opportunity?
