How long have you guys been traveling/what's the longest you've been on traveling roles before doing something local/remote? I've only ever traveled for 6 months at a time between local projects

Almost two years to the day today...I fantasize about buying a week's worth of groceries

How you guys deal with the long business travel rule? Do you take the 30 day break or the 60?

4 years weekly travel before a gap - but normally I travel 200+ nights a year.

Wow. Can't imagine 2 years and definitely not 4 years. Do you guys have family at home?

I've been traveling for 12 years and have never worked on a project in the same state that I've lived in.

Over 10 years travelling. Longest single project was 2 years but usually its one to another. 4 years with no break outside of tax break where I would work for a duration at another site. This is pretty normal I feel in this job. Wife at home, no kids though.

Current project has been 22 months of traveling, went compensatory last year.. Praying for my 60 day tax break this year 😩

Just under 10 years. Would love for something domestic, let alone local. International travel sucks.

@EY4 why don't you get your report and ask for your break? We were told we're responsible for ours so if we get hit with the tax implications it's on us.
