How long is H1B transfer taking these days?

Hi Fishes, Is it possible to process h1b as cap exempt if I had worked on USA in h1b status for few months and if the visa is expired now, once I join a new employer.

Does anyone know how much does it cost to a company who is doing H1B transfer for a candidate? Also, how much do they have to pay for the Green Card process?

Does anyone knows if Deloitte can file H1B before the starting date? I got hired around October 2021 and official starting date might around summer/fall 2022. Approved i140 on H1B as software consultant -> change to F1 to pursue MBA -> transition to H1B post-graduation but work in a different stream say investment banking. In this case would one be able to maintain the i140 & change occupation to a different stream? Has anyone does this?

I recently received an offer from a competitor with a promotion to my existing role and close to 50% hike. PwC is about to file my I140 in premium now and now I am caught up in 2 minds. Would I wait for another 180 days to make sure that my I140 technically cannot be revoked or do i risk joining the new firm ? The new firm would start my GC process after 6 months of joining and my H1 max out period is in July 2024.
