How long is normal to be on bench?

I have joined nagarro and it has been one month and I am currently on bench as a java developer associate staff Engineer, will I get fired ?

Hey guys , I’m new at Deloitte and consulting in general . I realized the staffing process is very very subjective based on your tenure at the firm, who likes you or doesn’t like you etc. I’m having a hard time getting staffed, and even though I hear how great I was I keep hearing how they picked someone else with more “Deloitte experience “. Did anyone experience this when they started consulting ? Getting really frustrating, and I’ve been on bench a month now.

Guys, i joined Mindtree in December 2021, and was allocated to a project...but the work they are making me do in is not as per my skill so i wanna get released. So, if i ask for project release from my manager, will i be moved to bench or i will have to leave the company??

Guys am really concerned about the EPB deduction.. I still have 75 days.. in NP But the responses am reading in various groups about EPB deduction is hilarious.. Thinking to get it confirmed from HR...!! If he says it will get deducted, I'll ask to shift me on bench as I don't see any point in working for a minute more for current project.. Offers from Deloitte and Guidehouse. Both similar salaries. Guidehouse is direct project hire and Deloitte is hire to the bench until they find a good fit for me. Is that risky in this environment? Any advice is appreciated

On the bench, and on PTO effectively until 10/1. No project lined up because apparently it's too far in the future for anyone to staff. I'll be leaving the firm before the next FYE.
