How long is too long? I interviewed with a mid size firm in mid September, and haven't heard the results yet. Got a courtsey email for first two weeks stating they will come back by next week. But now they're completely silent. I've the partners number, but have been refraining from making a phone call. Is it alright for me to give him a call or send a text. Or should I just move on.

I had a final round last Thursday, and the hiring manager mentioned the next step will be reference checks. I have another offer due end of this week, which I told them about during the interview. Is it appropriate to follow up with the hiring manager today/tomorrow for an expedited decision, or should I give them at least a week for the final decision?

How should one handle a strategy test for an interview and providing past client strategy example? Just finished the first round of interview with AWS. The anxiety that I had before the interview is now replaced with uneasiness about the result... hard to say how the interview went as it was all situational questions ... e.g. tell me about a time when u did xyz.
