Maybe I shouldn’t be asking this question but I am because I want your opinions! I’ll be going back on-site after being remote since the pandemic. I grew out my hair into a dreadlock style over this time. I want to know you experiences working at Apple or FAANG companies in regards to your hairstyle specifically. I am not thinking about cutting them but I do want to prepare myself for eyes at Apple

Update: After reaching out to the recruiter for a second time, I was told they would not be moving forward with my candidacy.
Feedback was that my “presentation felt more like a designer’s presentation than a researcher” ( 🤷🏾♂️ ). This is the same presentation that got me an offer at Stripe, final loop with Amazon and final loop with Google. ( again, 🤷🏾♂️)
With a match from my current employer to my Stripe offer in hand, I’ll be staying put. Thanks for y’all’s advice and feedback!
If it's been a week, I'd definitely check in. Do they know you have other offers on the table? That would help speed up their response.
Okay, you should definitely reach out
I would follow up. Recruiters typically give feedback within 24-48 hrs, regardless of whether you’re getting an offer
Yea I would just bring it up the other offers again. Why not? And ask them about their timelines. And give them your drop dead date
Definitely reach out to them and let them know you're still interested but have the other offers creating a demand on you.
Why no stripe offer? Those sweet sweet pre ipo rsus!
Fair enough, can’t beat that
Good stuff OP 👏🏾 👏🏾
