People that set boundaries, yes.

I’m still on a lunch break from 2019.

“If your job allows you”?
How about, “I block time for lunch on my calendar, and any other private time I need to tend to private matters.”
You got to learn to set and enforce boundaries. Otherwise this industry will fill up all the time you allow it to use; nights, weekends, vacations, etc. Some people think it a point of pride to say how much PTO they did not take in a given year and rolled over to the next. When really, it’s a sign of weakness and poor organizational skills.

And please leave your desk! Eating at your desk, while scrolling through your emails is not a break. Disconnect from work for 30-60 minutes every day. Your mental health will thank you.

usually 3 hours
I do get that much and sometimes more in commercial.
My job allows it, but I don’t take it cause I’d rather get offline earlier haha

If you routinely can’t take a lunch break, then that’s on you. Nothing that any of our firms are doing is important enough to preclude someone from being able to at least steal 30 minutes of time for food.
God people are terrible at managing their time. Set a recurring daily busy calendar invite if you must, or learn to decline calls/meetings if you aren’t comfortable moving your lunch around. I take at least a half hour up to 2 depending how busy my day is and always take it somewhere between noon and 2 in the afternoon
My lunch break is like 2 hours lol. I go to the gym, sauna, then cook and eat.
I allow myself to take lunch almost every day. Absolutely need to be fed and have a mind recharge.
I usually take a 1-1.5 hour lunch break, including a short nap and a coffee on my balcony.

I don’t take more than 3 hours worth of meetings in a single day usually, so there’s almost always time for a 30min - 1hr lunch. Workplaces that have people meeting for like 5+ hours a day really need to reevaluate what in the world they’re actually accomplishing or delivering. You either 1. have too many cooks in the kitchen 2. are creating too much “work in order to do work”
30 min
It depends could be non-existent to an hour depending on what’s going on and if people respect my calendar

Probably an hour.
10-45 min. Usually 30. I used to be very bad about taking this time away and truly shifting my mental focus. It is still a struggle especially with so many tasks waiting. :/
“Unless one of those tasks involves your hand in an open chest cavity, you can step away and grab a meal.” Advice my mentor gave me that I struggle to put into practice. Don’t feel bad about taking time for basic human needs.
I usually block my calendar, take 30 mins then go to the gym. All while my Skype is constant on red, then take pings from phone 😎
Si ce I started organizing food for the office, our (small) department always takes an hour lunch break and chills together!
