What is your success rate with job interviews?
Hi Fishes, Looking for a referral at EY. Note: I have given the interview in Sept for a client & they didn't offer the role to me.
I interviewed someone and they were clearly sexist. All the other interviewers - all men - liked him a lot. I’m saying no to him and trying to articulate why. Please help? What do I say? The role he would come in for would need to support me and my team- among others. I don’t want to be the difficult person here, but he would clearly not be a good fit and I get the feeling he would not be a good partner to me.
Candidates dropping mail, calls, WhatsApp texts to HR for issues in interview conduct, result, offer letter negotiation, ghosted, etc. Accenture HR be like: Na, hume to baat hi nahi karni. Kaa kall..loge !
Has anyone interviewed with Tik Tok for its product strategy - Monetization team? Could you share the interview experience, team culture, growth potential and comp? Any insights would be helpful. Thanks!
I have an interview scheduled in 2 weeks for a strategy consultant role. I never had a phone screen or interview with HR but the call is set with 2 managers, consultant, and a director level. What do you think of this in terms of how long the process might be?
What are the typical questions being asked in an interview? Also do you have a favorite question you ask them?
Hypothetically speaking, what would happen if I put in my two weeks without another job lined up? What if I quit on the spot? I have some solid leads and interviews lined up, but I had a panic attack today and don’t know how much longer I can do this here.
Anyone gone through the interview process with Instacart for the Strategy and Bizops role? What are some of the steps in their process? Already did a couple of technical assessment and now have a take home case study to complete in 72 hours. Its such a BS exercise I'm thinking of dropping out.
I am having an interview with RBC - head of product…MD position. How shall I prepare myself?

I am preparing for my second phone screen for a senior PM position @Amazon. The recruiter told me that it's about product strategy and design interview. What can I expect for this round? Is it a mix of LPs question and strategy questions or just strategy questions? Please suggest. Thank you! Amazon
What’s the upper limit you can ask for when applying for a mid-level CW job? Can you get $90k-$95k or is that more Sr?
Hello everyone, I am currently applying for entry level marketing positions in Europe and UK. Can anyone please provide me a referral at Unilever?
Has anyone interviewed at Goldman Sachs recently? I’ve gotten 2 emails to do virtual interviews where you record your answers to interview prompts and was wondering if this is just a default to applying to a job there and if anyone has successfully gotten past that round?
I’m at the references stage of interviews so I reached out to a former partner I worked for to see if he would be ok with me listing him as a reference. He agreed, but also asked whether I would come back and work for them. Would it still be weird to list them as a reference?
Anyone here heard of McKinsey Academy? What is this team like? WLB? compensation? Was approached about a Client Delivery Associate role within the group.
Hi fishers, I'm a Programmer Analyst with over 2.8 years of experience in SAS and SQL. My preferred location is Chennai/Bangalore. Currently I'm looking for a job switch and it's kind of urgent. Can someone please refer me in any of the Big 4 companies if there are any openings for SAS and SQL. Thanks in advance..
Question for anyone who handles UCC article 2. / Magnuson moss disputes. I’m a transactional attorney for luxury assets. A client has decided to bring in his own Amlaw 50 financial services litigation team to handle this highly specialized warranty dispute (lol). But anyway, these guys seem to be telling client that instead of holding onto the asset while he litigated the revocation, he has the right to resell the asset now and then sue the seller for any shortfall. The lit team seemed insult
What are the exit opportunities/salary ranges for roles in sustainability consulting? I hear all this attention for sustainability but I don’t see a lot of positions or roles for this work
Received offer of 92.5k and no signing bonus for GPS Consultant. Had spoken with recruiter about 95k before interviews and have heard of many others receiving 5-10k signing bonus. Should I push for both or just salary? How should I ask for signing bonus specifically?
Hello everyone, I am currently a HR Generalist for a small aerospace company, located in CA. I have been in a generalist role for a little over 4 years now and before that, I did recruiting/safety for about 3 years. I am now looking into getting my HR Certification, but am stuck in between the PHR-CA or the SHRM-CP. Does anyone have any recommendations they can give me?
Would you skip firm for a double(ish) grade jump? Being offered M at PwC. Currently C at D. 15% comp raise. Trying to consider downside if there are any?
Hi, I’m a Consulting Manager in the London office and have been approached by a recruiter to join Bain & Company as a Consultant into a generalist strategy consulting role. I have worked in FS for the past seven years at Deloitte, focusing on tech transformation. Has anyone made a similar move? If so how did you find moving from being a specialist to a generalist across multiple industries? What is it like working at Bain compared to Deloitte in terms of people, hours and enjoyment? Thanks!
Any help with making a decision here? I'm considering both as a Sr Consultant (I'm a manager but paid less than either): - EY Parthenon 180K base + bonus (avg range 12-18% w a max of 25% so 45K). I got this salary range from the recruiter - BCG but I don't know an actual salary offer for this. So I'm looking online seeing 165K base + some bonus "range" and a max of 40K. BCG seems low comparatively, especially given the old "horror stories" of work/life balance. But I've heard good changes!
I recently became PMP certified and am working as a Project Coordinator on a large ERP project. I’ve been in the position for 2 months, enjoy the work, and would like more responsibility and work from home. The director made an inappropriate (sexual) comment; it was so inappropriate that I don’t want to work with the company and am looking for a new opportunity. I would like to get into IT, but I don’t have a speciality. What are tech companies looking for in a Project/Product Manager?
Who has an idea about respective comp at KKR Capstone at a director and principal level?
Hey all! Been doing a lot of unofficial strategy work in my official CM role and am now looking to step my game up and be a social/creative strategist. Have you done this transition+how?
Interviewing at McKinsey & Company and recruiter informed me I’d be based out of “North America” and can work in any city where there’s a McK office. I’ve seen several posts here about people being assigned to a home office, even if working remotely most of the time. Curious if this more general assignment is new?
Constantly hearing keeping money just siting in the bank isn’t a good idea and I should have my money “working for me”. So for someone who knows nothing about investing (other than having a 401k and opened a Roth recently), where to begin with investing/where else should I put my money? Stocks require caution due to independence requirements at my current firm.
You know you're on the bench when you find a bruise on your low chin from where you've been resting your head on your knuckles while browsing the Internet all friggin day
Is it possible to roll off an proj before it ends? Feel like I’m completely burnout and couldn’t stand it anymore.
What’s the general consensus on product manager roles at McK/BCG? I see them posted pretty frequently but am kind of missing how they fit in the overall ladder/comp etc.
Just found out my grandma has Covid. Her symptoms are mild now but I’ve heard that they can intensify later on for older people. Does anyone have any experience with this and if so, how did it play out?
