What’s a tax provision :)

likefunny

I don't even know how to read and review financial statements 😂

likefunny

My senior manager sent me two tax work papers once and told me to review the provision. I literally had to ask which one was the provision. I guess we know why I failed REG the first time 😂

Unless you the special senior that likes tax lowkey, absolute none

529 Plan VERSUS Prepaid

We live in Florida and currently have a Freshman in High School and a 16 month old. We hear from our friends and family with college bound children "I wish we would have done Florida PrePaid." After obviously ignoring this for years, we are finally trying to do it before "it's too late" for both children.

Does anyone have recommendations on which plan to go with for each child? I once did the pros and cons on a whiteboard and it seemed like 529 was better.

I jad an interview on 2nd August, 2022 and on 17th August, 2022. I received an email stating that interviewer is moving up your profile and contact a person email id for further information.
Since that day I haven't heard anything from the HR. I had called HR several times but no response from calls as well as mails too.
Anyone also faced this situation?
Please suggest me what to do as I have my last day in existing company nearby in 20 days

I work in HR comms at a hospital corporate office, and wondering if I’m being underpaid. Currently have 4-6 years of experience. I have skills most comm majors aren’t expected to learn such as printing, ideation, graphic design, typography, photography, advertising campaign management, Adobe suite knowledge, branding and more. I’m being paid $26.6/hr. Was told in my job search by another hospital that the rate I requested $30-35/hr is only for people with 10-18yrs experience? Legit or bogus?

Im a ux/ui and visual designer with 5 years of experience. Last year I told myself this the last year I was working for someone so I didn’t Renew my portfolio hosting. So essentially i lost my work. Fast forward to now i need to get back into the workforce so I’m redoing my portfolio.

My question is what “regular “ or job that doesn’t require a portfolio can i get with the skill of a designer while I rebuild my portfolio and apply for jobs. Working for restaurant is not cutting it.
