What’s everyone’s thoughts on applying to several different positions within the same company? I’m looking at about 4 each with different focuses but mainly revolving around data analytics or entry level project analyst/coordinator. A friend of mine said it’s not a good look as it shows the company that you’re desperate. I really disagree, I feel it’s in your best interest to apply as many as you feel qualified for. Can anyone share client interview experience at epam anywhere?

3L with mostly A’s and B’s. I am having the worst luck trying to find work for after school and my experience working with lawyers has left me completely dejected. I cannot get an interview to save my life. I was so excited to get an externship summer after 2L with a small business and IP firm only to get yelled at on the phone a few times for not doing an assignment correctly. Mind you, I was working FOR FREE as it was a school connected externship. That made me never want to work in the law.

Hi Everyone! I applied for a position with Citi and had my interview on Feb 11. Unfortunately, I failed to ask the interviewer after the interview what were the next steps in the process and haven't heard from them or the recruiter in 2 weeks. I did send a thank you email shortly after our interview. Should I send a follow up email to both asking where I stand? or should I wait it out?

How do you interview if you’ve just started a new job? I started a new job 2 weeks ago, but saw an opening, applied, and got an interview with one of my dream companies. Position is analytics related. The resume I applied with doesn’t include my new job that I just started. How would you recommend approaching this interview? Did I set my career back two+ years by accepting an Analyst offer after interviewing for Consultant? ~ 3 years in industry and was being offered Senior Financial Analyst roles but wanted to get into consulting. Was told on the call for my offer that they were extending the offer as analyst because I "didn't have consulting experience" but they hit my salary ask and I got excited and went with it without arguing. Now that I've been here ~6 mos., I keep feeling like I screwed up my path forward

Want to use an offer to leverage a higher salary, those who have done this before - can I be required to show the letter? Do I have to say who the offer is from? Is the firm going to reach out to confirm the offer? I don’t want to lose the chance for the new role, but I would stay if they could match the offer. Please help!
