27 + 5 carryover from last year that I didn't get to use (oops!).

27 is a great number!

Required 20 and no cap

12 YOE

25 (5 weeks)
+11 holiday
+ 6 sick days
+2 floating/discretionary days

PTO is only required if we’re unavailable the entire day. No need to take it for half days or doctor’s appt./kids events
Carryover a max of 7 PTO

Where do you work and is Legal hiring? 😂

For those with unlimited, how much do you take? I try to take 4 full weeks plus odd days off here and there. With that said, I end up working during some of my PTO because we’re so leanly staffed

Aint this the truth…I try between 3-4 weeks as well.

20, plus 2 personal, a floating holiday and a cultural celebration day for specific religious/cultural days. 8 yoe

19 + 5 sick but just started at new company. Company gives many bank holidays plus 1/2 days before holidays.

Last company had 30 combined, limited company closure days, but was able to float 6 weeks. Miss that option. 20yoe

27 days PTO and we can carry over 25 days. 10 YOE

21 (26 in January). This year we had 3 floating holidays (2 next year because mlk day will be a holiday). We also close xmas to new years. 15 yoe 10 in house

OP. It's amazing. Literally no email all week. Our whole industry is quiet.

20. 5YOE.

15 days. I'm at 4 YOE.

A flexible 15 (I can take more if needed). 2YOE.

20 PTO, no sick, and (for this year) 1 personal day. Ten days can carry over year to year. Company also has 9 holidays. 17 YOE.

I should clarify: I have 17 YOE, but only about 1.5 years in current role.

Coming up on my 1 year anniversary. I’ve got what amounts to 11.9 days off, and I’ve used 5 days so far this year.

I also get 5 days (well, 40 hours worth) of sick leave off every year in addition to PTO accrued. And we get 1 day off for “celebration,” and 2 weeks emergency leave.

Unlimited, 5 YOE (1st yr in-house). My goal is to take at least 3 weeks every year.

15 days, 3 floating holidays. Can carry over 10 in a year. 1 YOE at this company.

She mainly wants relocation and flexible PTO since she will have to go and move from Maryland to Delaware.

Yesterday I and my friends were discussing office matters and there was a question. I thought i will ask it here as I felt it is a matter of an individual's experience.
The question is my friend has a scenario. Which is in his current company the joining date was on 2nd August 2019 but the previous organisation's lwd was 5th of August 2019. Will this overlap cause problem during the next switch?
If yes, how can he overcome this?

I really feel like I’ve been dealt a really bad hand in my life. It feels like no one gives me a chance. Whether it’s a job I know I’m qualified for, or someone I’m interested in. Even things that appear to be good at first end up sucking. I know I should be grateful for what I have and that so many others are less fortunate. But I still can’t help but think that for a person in my position, given the opportunities that I was given, I am just a complete failure and nowhere near what I could be.

Before taking a large pivot and leaving the law entirety, I've thought about going in-house.
