Any mass hiring happening for freshers??????
Have a formal offer at Citi for 120K as an AVP in the NY office. Currently making 92K at my current role where I feel there’s not much room to grow anymore. Is this a fair offer? I currently WFH pretty much full time at my current role which has been amazing, but it seems like Citi would require me to be there 2-3 days in the office per week - and this is something I’m very hesitant about. Thoughts on how to approach this?

Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.
If HR doesn't fulfill the counter offer, is it ok to accept 12 lpa fixed for Level 9 and when will I get a hike here and how much would it be approximately?
Accenture Please provide your insights. This is my first switch so I ne more exposure

It’s rare but if initiated by hiring Mgr - take it & run - don’t think you need to do anything as the hiring mgr should facilitate the convo with HR and other parties
If HM initiated and proposed it, then definitely run with it. But it is rare and HR could block it, but see what happens. Good luck!
Pretty hard to do if it’s something you bring up rather than the hiring group. Because if anything, you’re coming in as a newbie so why would they promote you. Most people lose a year
It’s a thing of skillset, if you have done similar thing in other teams been with firm for good no of years with a good track record and hiring manager has iniatied this , not you, then why not
I think I failed to mention , hiring manager initiated and is willing to bring step up
From what I heard, this was possible a couple of years back but now it’s much harder and almost impossible because of the changes to the promotion process
Vp1 thanks - the hm has posted ed level req and asked me to apply to it after couple interactions
Jpmc1 hr can block it for ? My q is how does this process work? They engage current manager as well? My current manager is a dickhead who was himself layered , his manager is supportive though and has volunteered to speak to new Management, I havnt told anyone its step up role though.
