Hi folks, It's been 22 days since I joined birlasoft. But still I have not been mapped to any project and in induction I have been told this hiring is done based on an already existing requirement. Is it common to not get mapped after these many days of joining? Please share your experience!!! Birlasoft

Hi Fishbowlers 👋🏼 I have 6 years experience in client facing roles within the music/ entertainment industry and 3 years w SaaS. Currently applying and interviewing for Creator Success Mgmt roles but I'm looking to get my foot in the door with sports (DraftKings, FanDuel , ESPN , NFL + MLB networks)
Any leads in sales would be greatly appreciated!

It has been 2+ weeks since I completed the Interview & Psychometric Assessment rounds with Macquarie Group , but yet to hear anything from them. I also followed up with HR but with no response. For the record, the interview went well. Any idea if they usually take this amount of time to get back? If I got rejected, why not communicate directly?

I eat strictly halal. Feel like no matter where the team goes there's usually something there to accommodate that (seafood, salads, veggie options). I've never had an issue
Strictly zabihah. No flexibility. Have never faced an issue where there was literally nothing I could eat.
But to each their own. This is not the most critical aspect of our faith that is worth arguing over
Same as K1. You just get really used to fish & shrimp. I even learned tofu isn't nearly as bad as I remember.
Halal ftw
I’m cuisine agilist lol. zabiha when readily available regular when not
Zabiha all day eryday
Never felt the need not too, plenty of options that satisfy me
I'm flexible
People don't argue due to its perceived importance. They argue because the people who don't eat halal do so openly. Brazenly open Haram acts are why people argue, not because they think it's more important than prayer/dress code/etc
My only frustration with the majority of Muslims not eating Zabihah only is that it leads to Muslim restaurants having insanely low standards. Horrible service and low quality food doesn’t actually seem to impact the success of a Zabihah restaurant (to a point at least). As long as it’s Zabihah, a lot of people will keep going back. Impossible to demand more when most people eat elsewhere. #firstworldfitnahs
@D2 it’s not haram... that is where it is an argument
All day every day
^^ This.
I mean - eating is generally done in the open isn't it. I don't think anyone is "brazen" there.
I don't think that's the reason Muslim restaurants have low standards. They have low standards because they do.
I went to a restaurant which I expected to be zabiha. I asked the question then got asked back what the difference is between halal and zabiha in a semi aggressive manner. This is the BS being referred to by the comment about labor standards
🤷♀️🤷♀️
*low standards
So if a restaurant has a “halal” logo, should one assume the meat is zabiha or not? I have always assumed it was zabiha, but this thread has started giving me cause for concern.
Would anyone pay for a service that gets you zabihah halal in your travel city?
@IBM1 it probably is, but it's always a good idea to ask just to be sure.
