Hi folks, It's been 22 days since I joined birlasoft. But still I have not been mapped to any project and in induction I have been told this hiring is done based on an already existing requirement. Is it common to not get mapped after these many days of joining? Please share your experience!!! Birlasoft

I've been "supporting" a project for >12 hrs a day on the bench because we undersell projects
If you are on the bench and you have a project coming up, don't bother. Just relax, so some administrative stuff. If you need to find a project, I'd spend at least 50% on PD type work. You can justify the rest of the time finding work. Honestly, I don't even start looking for PD work until about a week or two on the bench, just in case I get rolled onto a project right away.
Depends on pursuit. Are you talking about how many hours to bill to PRD? I put the full amount worked to PRD. If I worked 12, I put 12. I often find I work longer hours on pursuits than projects since they are much more intense over a shorter time frame.
Never been..
4-6 hours. Been asked to support an RFP full time for 3 weeks before.
All of them. All of the hours.
