For those of you that left big 4 accounting to do MBA, did you leave at Senior level (3-4 YOE) or at the Manager level (5 YOE). I would assume to leave at manager level would be more ideal as when you come back to the workforce you should at the very least be ready to come in at manager or above at your next job? Thoughts?
I'm a Tech Risk SC, but have an accounting/finance background. I'm doing the FRM now for broader cert experience, is it worth doing CA long term in my area?

Hello Fishes. I work in India as an in-house contract attorney. I want an opportunity outside my country. Is it possible to take up a job in a different country without doing any course or certification? Please DM me for any open opportunities.
Are there top consulting firms that take on experienced consultants w/o an MBA? I refuse to get an MBA and not sure if that precludes me from joining a top consulting firm. Thoughts?
Deciding between staying at Bain (Currently an AC2, would likely stay through a few years post-MBA) or exiting to growth equity and/or VC. I like Bain, but I also feel like the door to investing roles closes after AC2 year. Thoughts?

Any advice for someone looking to transition into a full HR Generalist role from Recruiting. I’m currently a Campus Recruiter with about 5 years of HR experience (Coordinator- Higher Ed). I received my PHR certification in September 2020 and sitting for my SHRM-CP in two weeks. I’m having a hard time transitioning into a full Generalist position.
Hello! I have a two part question: 1) is it worth it to obtain an SHRM specialty credential if I don’t have the broader SHRM certification? 2) has anyone gotten the People Analytics or Talent Acquistion credential? If so, how valuable was it from a learning perspective? Do you feel it significantly contributed to your knowledge in either area? Thank you!
What are your thoughts on the value of a Harvard Extension School degree vs. a standard online MBA from a reputable public university? I feel like the Harvard name carries a lot of value....

I read somewhere that MBB have a “moral veto” clause where any consultant can opt out of a case if it violates their own sense of morality. An example might be a vegan taking on a meat processing client. Can anyone verify? Is this formalised or just a cultural thing?
Need advice. We have a member on our team that doesn’t follow process, ignores asks, and undermines those above. They kinda go off and do their own thing, implement their own way of doing things. They are deeply embedded in the culture and are well liked by leadership. The dept head continues to praise them on calls, even when they ignore asks, push back, do not follow process. Do I say something? Do I let live? I’m new to the team and find this dynamic really uncomfortable.
I’m about to be offered a FT position at a big agency that I’m interning @ now . I’m going to be offered either a jr AD role or AD role (most likely for a pharma client). What salary shd I ask for?
Got an offer for a Measurement Lead role. Is this a good position at Google? I want to eventually pivot to PM or S&O. Would this help? Also how is WLB and comp?
I’m convinced that while practice does help, case studies are fundamentally designed to evaluate your critical thinking skills and IQ — which are immutable qualities. No matter how many mock cases I do, I can’t seem to figure out how they work and therefore can’t crack any interviews (10+ tries). I don’t think I’m as smart as I once thought 😕😕
Hi ladies, I need some advice on how to navigate/build a relationship with my fiance's family. Some of his siblings and family members are very standoffish and distant. For background, we are same race different culture. I'm very open and I've learned a lot from my fiance over the years. However, I believe his family still sees me as an outsider and they don't invite me to certain things. At times, it feels isolating and it makes me feel unwelcomed. They're also supposed to be in my wedding.
Very nervous about remote onboarding in the FP&A role, any advice? I have this image of me not understanding sh*t and getting fired in day 1.

Any consulting firms that actually train their employees? I came from WM industry so consulting was a bit of a culture shock and i wish my company had invested time into training me so I’d be a better consultant. Hoping to make a move elsewhere to a company that spends a few weeks mentoring before putting you on a project.
Anyone have a ballpark figure for a Bay Area salary for experienced hire Senior Associate in Advisory?
Hey 🐟 - I have an offer for EYP consultant. It's a ~30% jump in comp, but right now I'm a manager at a small shop with great WLB. Is it worth it to take the brand name and likely more hours even though id be stepping back in project responsibilities? Context - 3 YOE
Looking to boomerang back to PwC. The offer for a salaried position was pretty solid, but that one-time sign on bonus will go away the next year (obviously). They mentioned ‘Talent-Exchange’ and getting paid hourly with no benefits. If I did that, I would make about 205k (gross, with no benefits). That’s assuming I would average 55 hours a week throughout the year (pretty similar to what I work right now). Anyone have experience doing this? I’m worried averaging 55 is not possible.
