Same. As absolutely challenging as newborn days were there were two immediate reliefs:
- Not having to pee all the time
- Being able to eat a full meal with no heartburn, nausea, etc.
Those two gifts were almost as amazing as my baby 😂

31 weeks. I get up twice a night on average due to heartburn, eat a tums and then try to fall asleep. Then the insomnia kicks in so stay up reading for a few hours. Just as I'm getting sleepy, I need to pee. So while I go to bed 10pm-7am, I'm really sleeping <6 hours.
Weekend afternoon naps are my new favorites from 2-4pm.

I hated the peeing all night more than staying up all night with my newborn.
I’m 32 weeks and also up every 2 hours! Just starting to hit that point where I feel like I need a nap most days.
34 weeks, been waking up every 1.5-2 hours every night for a while due to need to pee or just pain or being uncomfortable. I’m in bed from 10:30 to 7 every night, and always take a 1 - 1.5 hour nap at some point

This makes me feel better. I thought I had an exceptionally small bladder. Glad to know everyone else gets up as frequently
M1 - me too! I have a 2 week old and I’m just so much more comfortable now and I can nap during the day. And go long without peeing!

I’m like 4 cause I would vomit in my sleep and wake up choking on burning vomit
I actually had to start taking half a unisom because otherwise I couldn’t fall back asleep after my first bathroom break (so for a while, I would get about 2 hours of sleep, then just be awake until 4 am, then finally drift back to sleep). Now I’m still waking up about 4x/night, but at least I’m able to fall back asleep!
This is me too

We use a Doona and our pediatrician wasn’t concerned with trips less that 2 hours. I also got a carrier and wore the baby for some walks. The caution there is that the baby would get very warm so I would use less layers of clothing.
