Dude the numbers are not going to help you in anyways. As long as you two are compatible emotionally, mentally and physically, your chances of a happy and successful marriage is very high, regardless of whether she is from Poland, india or Africa.

Oh I see tons of intercultural marriages, and they're really successful. It isn't about a good or bad idea but whether you feel as though you're compatible with one another.

It's a personal decision for both of you, if both of you are willing to make it work, she might even work out better than someone from your own culture

Marrying an Iranian guy! Fought to get family onboard. Completely worth it.

You both need to be committed to making it work, and being flexible, and being willing to take the lumps. Rest falls into place. I speak from experience.

Totally following. Wait but also what do we define as intercultural..

Indian with any other culture - asian/latino/american etc .. my gf is polish ..

Following. Gf is from Belarus.

It depends on your situation. I did it, certain things like language when you are with in laws, understanding customs, food preferences, long term goals are all things to ask questions about. Like my wife needed to learn how to make curry khichdi.

This is awesome - so it is not that scary or unusual !! Amazing thanks guys !!

Following. GFs from kingdom of nepal

You need to make a list of things you want to talk about and then figure things out - but things should work out mostly as long you love each other and can celebrate the differences

Previous firm culture was all about the people, new firm is all about being the best... I knew the stereotype here was about being *the best*, but didn’t realize that people who buy into firm culture/values just repeatedly talk about how “we’re the best,” and, “we work REALLY hard bc we’re the best!!” I’m trying to commit, but end every internal call where I hear these words feeling like 🥴😶🙄. At least at the old firm there were relationships to back up the people piece and make it relatable.

Hello Everyone! Had a discussion yesterday regarding “claw backs” being included in a policy for sponsorship if the new employee leaves before 3 years. It was a declining percentage over a three year period. My POV was that it wasn’t something I’ve ever done and didn’t seem like they were sure of the hire they were making. I get wanting to save costs but at the same time doesn’t feel inclusive or welcoming. Thoughts? Have you done this or seen it work? Thanks!
