How many interview rounds are typical for Deloitte consulting? I am currently interviewing for a role within the energy, resources and industrials group. I have done one round with the recruiter, one with a manager, and I have another this coming Monday with a senior manager and a director. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Oh that’s a great group, some of my favorite folks in the firm are in that industry. And yes 3 rounds is the norm. All the best with your interviews!!

This would probably be it. Unless they changed the process since I started. You can also ask the recruiter, they’re very friendly and open about the process.

like

That’s on par. I had 3 as well - recruiter screen, then several follow up interviews.

Thanks!

Depends also on the level, if you are going SM and above could have one or two interviews with principals. But for M and below that seems to be the entire loop.

I’m in ER&I, do you know what portion of it you would be in?

Oh I’m in consulting, is that in advisory?

Seems about right, I had recruiter screen + behavioral with SM + case study with SM and then partner

Hi fishes,

I just got an offer from Morgan Stanley. The offer is indeed handsome and provides other benefits as well. The problem is I just relocated to Pune for my wife's work, we have set up our house here and now if I accept offer I again have to relocate to Bangalore because they aren't offering WFH. What should I do? I know Morgan Stanley is a very reputed firm and might make an enormous impact in my technical growth, but is it worth taking the pain of relocation again?? I am confused.

Hi Fishes, I need some help.
So I've got the offer letter from Genpact today, but I have to send the required docs and BGV should happen and then in 3-4 days they might send Joining/Appointment letter.
So my doubt is, shall I inform the current Consultancy that I'm rejecting their offer? Or shall I wait till I get the appointment letter from Genpact and then inform the consultancy?
It's already been 15+ days since I've joined the company via consultancy.
PS: I have just joined on 3rd Feb on C2H

OMG! Why do recruiters go dark on you!? I had a great conversation with a hiring manager who said things like I can’t believe she (recruiter) found you, you are so polished, I want you to meet with the girl on my team -like I had it in the bag. The conversation with the girl on the team went well and told me how excited the hiring manager is and called her right away…. I email the recruiter to ask about next steps and nothing……

Currently part of a team that’s slowly becoming a “boys club”. Product and Design leadership slowing hiring past colleagues that “have their back”. Most didn’t go through the hiring process because they came on as contractors or were stealth hired.

It’s really shady and feels sort of like discrimination, doesn’t it? Didn’t think I would be part of the statistic…

I'm coming to the end of a contract term and being converted to FTE.

The offer was presented to me by the hiring manager and not HR/Recruiter. To me it is a lower base salary offer than expected, so I asked for info on the total compensation package (base, benefits, bonus, stock/rsu, etc.), which I was told about when they took me on under the contract with the intention to convert.

Hiring manager sends me an email with only standard benefits, no bonus, etc. Are these red flags?
