I'm interviewing at a company that it's normal for there to be 8-10 interviews.

like

Thanks :)

Yeah I had 4 interviews as well
With the final one being with the ceo. I should receive an offer this week

like

It will depends of the job tittle. I did 3 for a director role and I thought it was ok.

like

Yeap. Too much red tape

like

4 rounds or 4 distinct interviews? I'm talking to 4 people today as part of a 1st round and it seems reasonable

like

They are probably on the fence about you so getting additional opinions.

I had over 8 interviews not including HR and two interviews with direct hiring manager.

So far I've had 6 rounds (including phone screen) with two separate companies. The least amount of interviews has been 4.

Hi everyone!

After years of hard work, I just got my first position in a leadership role! Yay! I’ll be leading a team of 12.
I wanted to know if you had any tips for me, things you wish you knew before, or things previous leaders did for/to you that you found admirable or stayed with you. I want to make sure I’m there for them and want to be a leader they will remember positively.

Thank you so much!!

Hi. I’m looking for advice. I recently interviewed for a job with the EPA. The hiring manager and team seems like it would be a good fit and I would be working on projects that would be what I want to be doing as a career. The job description has not been written up yet. How likely would the job be remote versus telework? My boyfriend has said he would not want to relocate. It almost seems like a cliché situation and I would be very conflicted about moving away from him.

Need a referal for automation testing openings.

Thanks

Would you feel comfortable telling HR that your service line’s culture sucks and name the individuals who cause it? Or is a better approach saying it’s the leadership in general creating a negative and toxic culture? How effective are these conversations really? Trying to assess if there’s any point in bringing this up. Obviously HR works for the company and an employee sharing their thoughts on the unsupportive, cold leaders could bite me in the long run.

I’m going crazy in Audit, I’m an A2. I think I’m going to try and transition to consulting. Would it be smarter to stay within the firm or go to a new one, and is there a half-step I should take (such as going to TAS for a year or so) before going into consulting? I just want more exposure to companies I work on than just the audit, it doesn’t feel like stuff I’ll be using in 5 years (but I’d be happy to be proven wrong on that). Business strategy/biz dev is catching my interest recently.
