Offer for L64 technical program manager role at Microsoft, base $160k. From what I’ve seen, this is low, however I’ve been told it’s towards the top of the range. Is getting up to 180 feasible?

Looking for advice: been at my new job for about 6 months and absolutely hate it. I’m overworked and underpaid. A friend is a VP at a fund that I’m interested in joining and has offered to refer me but he won’t be involved in the hiring process past that point. Do I take the referral now and risk them thinking I’m a job hopper or do I suffer for 6 more months and hope they’re hiring then?

Started at a new firm right at the end of feb. It's small with a couple of offices. Is it acceptable to take off 7 days of PTO in October? Our PTO does not roll over and I can't get compensated for the days I don't take. Looking for advice, strangers. Currently on a team that has grown exponentially over the last few months. However, I have felt stagnant in my role for a while, as leadership has changed many times, causing annual plans and budget requests to go ignored or unapproved. Few weeks ago I saw a new role, applied, and was offered the role. Around the same time, new leadership joined my team and offered to elevate and support my role. Do I stay or do I go?

Been with my current employer for a year and I am already burnt out. My team has been very supportive but I keep getting the feeling that I have had enough. I don’t even know where to start. I am the second operations hire for the firm. The 1st one is a genius without social skill and nitpicks my work based on wrong assumptions that flew around their head.
