I have 3 including my laptop and want another one as well. I like the efficiency of not having to jump through windows to find what I’m looking for. I can put certain programs on certain screens and get more done in a less distracting manner.
My monitors and desk setup is quite literally one big reason I won't go back into the office. (Many other reasons too).
I hate plug-unplug to go sit in a stuffy meeting room holding my coffee, my notebook, my phone. Women's pants don't even have pockets!

1 27” high resolution one and my laptop screen as backup for capturing notes primarily. Nobody in consulting needs more than 2 if you’re just working in PPT, Excel, Chrome and Outlook all day
One for outlook, one for ppt/excel, one for slack and other for netflix

What’s on the 4th monitor? Three works great for me.
I have 4 and love it. Two are sidetraks — my Computer has ears!
One for the incognito browser

I have my laptop screen for normal messages with Team. Two other screens for excel/pdf/etc. sometimes I do wish I have a 4th one whe n I need to look at multiple files…

Sounds like you should use a TV for a monitor
3 for personal, 1 monitor + laptop for worm
This question is triggering my ocd for clutter
Depends on how many eyes you have
