I’m getting more and more burned out on HR everyday. I’m thinking of pivoting to a field like software sales for HR technology. I’m willing to take a step back in salary but I’m not getting any interest. Does anyone have a contact at a workday or UKG or smaller HR tech company that I could talk to about possibly making this transition? Or provide some advice? Thank you! Workday

Happy WFH
We’ve been told we won’t be back until next year, and even then it won’t be the same again. I’m perfectly happy to WFH, and I talk to my team all the time, I miss my other colleagues and the interaction with others in the building. I miss my daily connection with the gal at the Dunkin’ Donuts who I’ve seen just about every working day for 17 years. It’s weird, and as I look toward retirement this isn’t how I envisioned signing off.
Have any of you had to go work in the office? I’ve learned I can do most of my job at home and with fewer interruptions. Would be nice to be given the option of wfh at least 1 - 2 days a week.
I go in once a week now and my dogs look at me very confused. I definitely don’t want to go back as an every day thing!
It almost doesn’t matter since no one in the US should be going into any office. I miss my colleagues but am happy to WFH. I don’t see us going back until 2021 at the earliest; and if the 2nd/3rd waves are as bad as expected, 2022.
No way. I’d prefer to live through this and also not be responsible for anyone else’s getting sick if I am exposed.
I would imagine some with multi year lease deals will have to eat the cost to either break lease or revamp office size

Enjoying WFH
I do not want to go back to the office. I have gotten use to WFH. I do not feel comfortable going to office anytime soon to wear a mask in the office, travel to office. Hoping next year.
I am okay going in once a week, we are doing that now because we are essential. Professionals, however, are not allowed in the office, only administrative staff. I have gotten used to working from home and prefer it, but also miss talking to my co-workers. I’m in Florida, so we prob won’t be going back for a while full-time.
