Yes her net worth is 0, the price you pay for a trophy wife 👸
I dont know but i dont have a so
When I was worried about it then I found the wrong SOs. When I stopped worrying about it, my Relationships improved drastically. Finding someone "on your level" isn't always the best approach to dating. I like someone who complements me well in other ways.
Not until we got engaged but then we combined all of our assets in a spreadsheet and started making plans to integrate them. She was saving a surprising amount of money on a very low salary
My SO knows about my cushy salary and thinks I'm rolling in all this dough but she doesn't know about the shit mountain of student loans 😂
my so is my income so yes i know my so
So what? If you are really in love, have compatible values and life goals, what does money matter? There are more important things in life
lol what significant other?
M1 that's a lot better than negative!
We are equal :D
Had the conversation recently and it was pretty close to what I thought. She, on the other hand, thought I made 1/3 less than what I do. 😉
D1 - I agree but that's a topic I would want to know about before such a huge commitment like an engagement. Debt isn't the deal breaker here but everyone has different financial managing styles and THAT is something I would want to know more about my SO. To me, that's as important as any other aspects in a relationship. I would want us to be aligned and on the same page about how we manage our money.
Didn't share the details with each other until after we were engaged. I had an idea of where she was at but she had no clue about my financial standing.
We talk in generalizations. Both have no loans out and all I know is I make more money than him. Once when I was drunk, I asked what he actually made but I can't remember the answer and I'm too afraid to ask again.
D2 that is so risky..... what if you inherit a mountain of debt?
Cool. I was just wondering. Cuz I have no idea how much my SO make and we are together for over 5 years~just know that he treats me right and he never let me pay for a single meal...lol
Yea my gf and I share our salaries pretty openly...even down to our monthly. I make more than her but her disposable income is either equal or higher than mine if I take out money I pay towards debts.
Amen. Retirement isnt an activity for only 1
