Use a basket of random goods (e.g. Gucci loafers, Hermès tie, and Patagonia vest) to show that that basket of random goods would have cost less when your boss was your age

Have another offer in hand to bargain, you most likely get something higher than both Want extra pay? Put in extra hours to find them a competitor

What more are you doing now to bring them better value. What is the additional you bring to the table since hire date and has that been properly accounted for. That is the pitch you need. Not the basket of goods.
