What are the chances of me getting an interview at BCG if I applied about a month ago? I’m assuming that means they likely passed on my candidacy?

Enrolling in MBA this fall and want to pivot to digital strategy consulting afterwards. Currently staffed on a project doing manual regulatory work (staff aug). The only positives are that I manage an offshore team and client is great and supportive of me going back to school. Is it worth trying to switch projects to something a bit more related to my post mba goal or should I just stick with this role for the next 5 months?

Tax planning question - I’m currently living in a country with no capital gain tax and will move to US in a few months (so I will be an US tax resident for 2022 I assume). My question is if I sell my stock before the move, do I need to pay capital gain tax in the US (since I will be a tax resident for the year)? Thanks!

Apparently I'm "rich" and "wealthy" because I am able to do a partial mega backdoor Roth IRA this year. Glad they can throw me and my much less than $400k salary to the curb in order to raise the salt cap high enough to primarily benefit those making well over $400k.
