I never changed my name. Husbands come and go. Your name is forever.

Do whatever you feel is best. I think it would be awesome to come up with a new last name for you and your spouse. A new name for your new family.

Actually, as I understand it keeping the maiden name has become less common over the last ten years. Easiest thing is to just ease people into it if you want to use the new last name.
Not sure if kids are in your future, but I know lots of women who change last names so they don't have a different last name than their children.
I never changed mine and really hasn't been a big deal. I recently had a kid too.

A lot of people in my office use first name (maiden name) new last name in official emails and on their business cards.

Keep your last name. It's the way of the future.
For work I use my maiden name, but legally I go by my husbands bc my mother guilted me and some of me didn't really care
Why don't you ask your future husband what his thoughts are?
If you might move soon keep the maiden name. Changing last name and moving almost drove my wife insane. If not whichever you prefer.
Children should take father's surname.
