No way. Enjoying what free time I have is more important.
I work as a soccer referee! The money’s obviously not the motivator, but it’s fun and keeps me active/outside.

I do the dishes on the side.... 🤷♂️
I cut my lawn. At the moment, I’m learning on the job hence my wife isn’t paying me anything. But I’m sure she will pay me something for it one day. 🤣
Why is money the first priority in your life? And are you happy about that?
OP I feel this

I’m a barista at Starbucks!
Worked at Starbucks in the Chicago area - the one that serves wine and food. They stay open until midnight that way I could work my full time job.
I thought it would be fun but I realized a few things:
- milk is in almost every product and it smells bad in the back because we drain quite a bit in the day which reaks (for me)
- I had to clean bathrooms too ( people are disgusting)
-the drama was unbearable with co-workers
- Benefits were horrible (compared to by day job) mostly incentives are to go to college / I have an MBA
- General public is amazing, loved the locals, the students and artsy folks that come in and chat us up. Famous folks every now and then and the police detectives would stop by prior to the overnight shift. This was awesome!
- The free stuff was awesome! I really don’t even like coffee but you got a free bag of ground coffee of your choice each month, great discounts and tips. I gave the coffee as gifts and won lots of bonus points with colleagues at my full time job.
I grew tired of the drama between the team, too many people come and go but overall it was okay.
I have a side hustle that I love and makes decent change. Kind of a legal gray area though
Ooh please do tell
I do a side job because I love it but not because I need the money
I don’t code at EY. I’m building a multi tenant SaaS with a friend on the side. (Yay Microservices!)
For passion ? Baking and coffee seems cool. For money ? Likely needs to be investing or real estate

I cam sometimes and used to dom, but haven’t since Covid.
I rent my guest house on Airbnb! Basically a second part time job to clean it a couple times a week.
I need to do it. Things are really tight. Waiting on hubby’s unemployment to kick in. We need approval for a side job right?
Yes
No but I respect your hustle OP

I have a friend who would do babysitting on the weekends to get an extra hundred bucks or so in addition to his salary that was just under 6 figures. I found it irrational, but If just want money, you can find things like this to do on the weekend to add to your pay, even if the /hr rate is significantly lower. I hate it though personally haha.
Maybe he can half watch the kids and half watch the game/manage his portfolio ? Really depends on what each person’s interest are
