Marsh & McLennan I am moving 2 hours from my office. My manager says i have to come 2 days to office. When i come to the office its only me and couple of other people. No one seems to care about coming to office. When i asked manager if i can work remote i was told that its for my career development. Can you guys tell in Canada which companies are offering remote opportunities?

It’s more prevalent than most people realize. Until mental health is truly recognized as something that needs to be continuously tended to in all of us vs. medicated away in those of us where volatility in life hits hardest, you won’t likely know that that coworker/friend next to you that seems to have it all going for them is fighting with their back against the wall just below the surface. Nothing to feel embarrassed or weak over. It may feel like you’re isolated but trust me you’re not and your struggles are shared by many of us
Now, I try to tell my friends and colleagues that they need to think of it like their physical health. We work on our physical health daily... you may workout, think about what you eat, get steps in, etc... but some may have never consciously worked on mental health. How crazy and unbalanced is that.

Quite a few are talking about meds here too: https://joinfishbowl.com/bowl_euhbv

And by that I mean, I'm one of them and it's made a huge difference in my day to day wellbeing.
I’ve been on anti-depressants for anxiety issues, drank way too much at times, had boss pass out at a dinner table at a client meeting from too much booze and lack of sleep...not saying go wild but you are definitely not alone and it’s really common in this industry.
