I was interviewed for a major tech player in the hospitality industry, had 2 interviews which for the first one the recruiter was late, and didn't confirm the interview while I emaild her to make sure I do have an interview. When she attended she said that there was no point of responding my email as we are meeting anyway. Later on I had 2nd interview with the hiring manager. Context- I was recently promoted to a new position, new department. Since then I've been doing my new job about halfway and my old job the rest of the time while interviewing for my replacement as part of the transition.
Now my old boss has quit and I'm being called in as an interim fill in for her role. Mind you this role I'm filling in for pays far more than my previous or even current position.

I recently interviewed for a great company and they are offer me a base + commission salary of which the base salary is much lower (15k less) than what I was making in previous role and is also below the industry rate. They say the commission will make up for my expectations. Now I am in a bit in bind because this is great company and will give me good exposure for future opportunities but I also want to negotiate the salary. How can I approach this?

How many moves between firms is too many? 6 years out of school with 3 firms on my resume, 2 years each.
