Hi Fishes, I got a call from Infosys HR stating that I'm selected and I would receive offer in 10 days. It's been around 12 days now, yet to receive the offer. HR's not picking the calls too. Any ideas, has anyone undergone the same situation. Please help. Infosys Infosys Limited Infosys Consulting

I have 3 a week with my team and we often skip 1 to 2.
1 is normal. I find them helpful for large/complex projects where things change daily. Helps keep your workstream aligned with any interdependencies, etc. They have to be run efficiently though to be effective and worth everyone’s time. Not sure why you’re having 3 though lol.
Which is why it makes no sense for the OP, who is an analyst I believe, to be having 3/day for 1 project.
Any stand up that lasts for more than 15 minutes is bs
Agree. I get upset when I see standups that aren’t 15 mins.

3 for the same project? Might be excessive
I have 1/day as a developer and even that seems like too much lmao
What’s a stand up? Serious question btw
Stand Ups came from Agile.
Stand To is a military term when everyone in the unit had to occupy their fighting positions for a potential attack. They happened just before dawn and at dusk.
Is it a stand up if you never sit down?
You’re either ‘there’ doing work or ‘about to be’ with those guys.
That's a lot of comedy shows

The more you update the more they micromanage. Don’t join the other two
That completely defeats the purpose of a standup lol. Supposed to be one 15 min check in
1 standup per day is all you should need, add working sessions or other meetings if you need more. Too much and you end up losing productivity talking about productivity.
I have 3 standups per day each morning, 1 for each project.
Ah yes. More great “agile” practices :)
1 per day per team MAX. I have 2 teams so I have 2 stand ups.
It’s really dumb lol
The information needs to flow up and the blockers need to be made clear to management. If you can't make all 3, do you have an option to write up your list for all three and share your updates on a single email, can you cut down to a most important one attended every day and maybe an alternating schedule between the other two?
We do one each morning and it's just in our slack channel.
Agreed! There’s been a couple of really cool Scrum Bots that do it well!
You’re only in consulting if you have calls all day and can only work past 5pm
My desk has a standing mode but I usually stay seated. Probably once per week I’ll do a standup.
I usually have 1 with my offshore developers early in the morning, then 1 with my client. 3 seems a bit ridiculous; I hope they aren't longer than 15 minutes each!
I hate stand ups!
